Politics aside
Election night is a blizzard of data visualization. Most of the infographics are beautiful. Many are actually informative. Some, maybe it’s just me, are for show (ice rink map – I’m looking at you). It’s practically a spectator sport for a graphic and web designer.
With the network hype now weeks past, Fast Company shows us a very elegant visualization of social network keywords from about 2 weeks prior to 2 days after the vote. It’s refreshing in both aesthetic and in it’s data source of real people, not pundits and pollsters.
