Film festival branding and marketing
MNFF is all about the work of first and second time filmmakers. The festival is entering its 4th year and already has the vibe of a well-established festival. The Image Farm has been there from the start.
Our work began by creating a powerful logo reflecting MNFF’s global community of modern filmmaking talent. Building on the core identity we continue to maintain and expand the branded experience. A comprehensive suite of assets includes posters, print and online advertising, email campaigns, web design, infographics, publications, environmental graphics, and more. We also play a key role in outreach strategy and content development. This concerted effort has contributed to significant growth in film submissions, ticket sales and attendance.
Beyond the August festival we also promote MNFF’s year-long programming. The award-winning films are re-screened in a Best of the Fest series in the fall and in spring the films and filmmakers set out on The New England Tour. We also create and implement promotion of the Winter Screening Series which brings a curated set of ground-breaking films to the fest’s home town of Middlebury VT.
